Chi Gung & Nei Gung: Opening the Energy Gates of Your Body

This exercise is the basic Water Method Chi Gung technique. It can be practiced in less than half an hour. Its five movements progressively energize the low and medium internal organs, the spine and the brain. It is useful to relieve stress-related illnesses, chronic joint problems, accident and sport injuries, while building internal strength.
Opening the Energy Gates increases the downward flow of Chi, extremely important for promoting health, and awakens the internal sensibility of a newborn child. Part of this course is the Dissolving process and also the Taoist spine stretch, a technique not commonly available to the public, that guides us how to control the movements of our vertebrae to relieve spinal tension and back pain.
In the Chinese concept of the five elemental processes, it corresponds to the water element.

Chi Gung & Nei Gung: The Marriage of Heaven and Earth

This exercise can be practiced for a few minutes, or longer, according to personal needs. Its only movement, coordinated with the second level of Taoist breathing, works deeply on back, chest and neck, moving all body joints and cavities with no muscular strain.
It teaches us to coordinate the ascending and descending flow of Chi, to project Chi through the hands and direct it at will to the upper body as a self-healing method.
It corresponds to the wood element.

Spinal Chi Gung & Nei Gung: Bend the Bow and Shoot the Arrow

This exercise can be personalized according to personal needs. It includes the third and deepest level of Taoist breathing in which all body joints, cavities, glands and muscles expand and contract with each breath.
It helps to energetically reconnect the internal organs to the spine. It teaches us to move each vertebrae independently and to control the Chi flow in the spine, and further develops the ability to project Chi.
It corresponds to the metal element.

Advanced Chi Gung & Nei Gung: Spiraling the Energy Body

(Prerequisite: Opening the Energy Gates)
This exercise uses the same physical movements of Opening the Energy Gates, but it adds a deep energy work to greatly raise the level of Chi in the body.
It teaches us how to direct the ascending flow of energy, project it along the spiral pathways of the body, neutralize negative energy, and energize at will any point in our body for healing and power.
It corresponds to the fire element.

Advanced Chi Gung & Nei Gung: Gods Playing in the Clouds

This exercise includes all the internal Chi Gung techniques. It is one of the oldest and more powerful Taoist rejuvenating methods.

Each exercise is a standing by itself Chi Gung system that has a synergy effect with any of the other Chi Gung exercises as well as with any of the other Internal Art. Opening the Energy Gates of Your Body and The Marriage of Heaven and Earth contain also the basic information for the Internal Martial Arts (Hsing-I, Tai Chi, Ba Gua) and for Taoist Meditation as well.
